This was a cute summer read. I love a hockey romance and Drew was amazinggg. I really liked the storyline at the beginning with her sisters wedding. However, I couldn’t relate at all to Harper she felt very distant as a character, as did many others. I felt the writing was very lazy at times, especially towards the end and the ending.

I reallyyy wish there were flashbacks to their previous summers and that they actually interacted more in the past. It seems like by the title that it’s supposed to be friends to lovers over six summers but that’s not it at all. They barely talked before they reconnected, just having distant crushes on each other. Imo that would have made the book sm better if there was even a little bit more history btw them.

Still an enjoyable read, but didn’t love a lot of the details
