I spent the 10 minutes after finishing this book ranting about it. To be honest it was a bit of a let-down for me. It sounded very promising based on the plot description, but the actual meat of the story was lackluster. I felt very detached from the story and the characters throughout. There was maybe one character out of the bunch that I was able to "connect" with, but it was a tenuous connection, at best. If it hadn't been such a short book, I probably would have DNF-ed it. There are a few elements that I found interesting, though I can't really get into them as they would be spoilers. It was just interesting enough to keep me reading, but other than that it's just... there. The story isn't terrible, but it's not exactly memorable, either. The one word that most comes to mind to describe it is "anticlimactic." I really don't know what else to say that wouldn't be full of spoilers.
