Touch of Faete by Ligia de Wit

I received this ARC for free and am leaving this review willingly.

I ended up enjoying the story after about 58% the way through the book. I had a hard time with certain things being too descriptive. I have a tendency of creating in my head what is described and when there's too many descriptive words used for similar things I have a hard time concentration and getting passed it. For about the first 40% I was thoroughly confused on well almost everything. I think it was mainly because of all of the fantasy terms used for the story and not knowing exactly what they were supposed to be.

However the story did get much better and I had a much easier time time reading once there was more world building for the Fae realm. I definitely want to read more but alas no more yet! I really did enjoy the character building with Titus and Ryanne and that little twist with Titus at the end had me smiling and so happy!

Honestly I believe if I weren't such a picky reader with descriptive situations this could have easily been a 5 star read for me! The only downfall I had was it said it was a slow burn enemies to lovers. The enemies to lovers yes but when I think slow burn I think spice and there was no spice. However I will recommend to those that love fantasy and are looking for something a bit different from the normal fantasy selections out there!
