The Sunbearer Trials by Aiden Thomas

5.0

Well that was a roller coaster.

So, The Sunbearer trials is my most anticipatied book of 2022. The cover is GORGEROUS. And the premise said this is Hunger games meets Percy Jackson. So a dream come true. And also the first time they use the "this book meet this book" tactic right. Because The Sunbearer trials is literally the child of Hunger games and Percy Jackson.

I can tell you the Pjo kid in my was screaming of happiness the entire book.

First of all, I loved the worldbuilding. I love to imagine colorful and fun magical places. So I really liked the descriping of all the cities. I wish we had seen more of Teo's home town thought because it was so cool. A city full of cool birds? Yes please.

Another thing I liked are the powers. The main character has wings!!!! And he can talk to birds!!!!! Literally the best compo ever.
And oh my gods Dezi's powers were so freaking badass. Guy could propably get rocks fall in love him.
Oh and I also liked whatever the hell Ocelo was doing. They are now offically my favorite cat person.

This book was also freaking hilarious. I was just giggling the whole time I was reading it.

And like, I love Teo with all my heart
