may be a capital offense to say so but jilly cooper is absolutely giving modern jane austen aka this book is 900 pages of rich people from the olden days doing scandalous rich people stuff
i think reading a book of that length this quickly in the midst of finals (oops) kinda speaks for itself it knows exactly what it is and revels in it and i think it’s fantastic (and as does my mother and all of her friends xx)
rupert campbell black sucked ass for 95% of this novel until jake decided to suck ass also and then rupert was likeable and somehow the character i was rooting for and jilly cooper i feel betrayed by this switch because rupert SUCKS ASS
closing thoughts fen is the best and helen needs to get a firm grip on herself
