A solid book. The 10th anniversary edition took out the misogynistic terminology and some questionable senses. Still, I would've enjoyed the book if Peter was less of a horndog. I think Nightingale was my favorite character and definitely why I tolerated the book more than I would've if it was just Peter. I found the ending to be a big of a slog but it was still okay. Despite it all, I enjoyed the urban fantasy concept of it and the humour was pretty good. I am interested in reading the future books and seeing how these characters develop further. Edit- I read the 10th anniversary version while listening to the original audiobook by Kobna Holdbrook-Smith which was very well done.
