I gotta admit this one is my first monster romance (I think, I’m pretty sure haha)
And I honestly wasn’t sure how I would feel about it going into it buuuut um clearly I loved it 🤤❤️ one of my booktok besties had been recommending it to me for a while and I am so glad I listened to her because this book was so good to me.
I’ve read other books by Katee Robert so I felt comfortable starting it and by the end of it I wanted more 🔥‼️
It was a shorter book, a novella. But the story didn’t feel too rushed for me which I was really worried about! Sometimes even the longest books feel rushed and this one just felt like a full story, even if I did want it to keep going but that was more so because I loved Sol and Briar together so much 🫶🏼🔥
To anyone on the fence about reading monster romances… DO IT 🥵🌶 you will not regret it I promise, I would recommend starting with this one lol simply because it’s a monster romance but it’s not intimidating. I do recommend reading trigger warnings of this one or ANY book you are thinking of reading just to be on the safe side 🫶🏼❤️ just because something wasn’t triggering for me doesn’t mean the same for you! So be safe while reading ❤️
