The story
Andie is the sister of Wyatt’s best friend Josh. In their small town, Wyatt’s father is the patriarch of the ice cream dynasty, but Wyatt has rejected it all. He supports himself on taking handyman work and singing in his cover band. He’s been in love with Andie forever, hiding his feelings for her to not upset Josh. But when Andie needs his help to fix up her house, things really get going.
My thoughts
I loved how the author spun this small town, brother’s best friend, forbidden love story into a fresh and spicy read. I love how the dual POV gives Wyatt a chance to show off the vulnerability behind his suave and confident exterior, tackling the sadness and insecurity he keeps inside. I love how Andie’s family and friends support her. A sweet read!
