Despite having listened to most episodes of the podcast several times, I still was not able to make it through this book without crying. I think the mark of a great book to me is one that inspires me to go out and immediatly pick up another, and the way John weaves stories and quotes and song lyrics into the story of his life makes me want to both devour and savor all of the light soaked moments in art. I have loved this book since I heard the first episode of the pod years ago, and I beleive I will carry it with me in the years to come. Given this, it is no surprise that I give The Anthropocene Reviewed five stars.
