This book follows 4 main characters Ruth who was a victim of an assault, her husband Scott, detective Farrow, and Amanda who lost her daughter and husband recently due to a kidnapping/killing/suicide. It tells the separate stories of these individuals as they move from what happened to them in the past and how they are dealing with it now. 
This book has crazy twists, character development, easy to read, short chapters, and is very engaging. I was sucked in the first chapter. I highly recommend this new thriller.
