I loved this book! I found it fast paced and bingeable to read! Lyra as a main character was amazing and I loved the side characters as well. I felt like the gods were told to be these really powerful beings, but they kind of sat around not doing much of anything. I guess that’s the point of the tournament, the gods don’t battle, only the humans do. But it was like their objects had power but not them, so they were kind of one note to read about. I’m hoping we’ll get to see more of them in the next book. Also I think Boone is my favorite character.
