I’m conflicted because while I rlly enjoyed the story and the characters, the writing felt too simple. The inner monologue was incredibly straight forward and plain which is fine if ur looking not to use ur brain too much lol and I didn’t realise it was exactly what I needed rn to help me thru my slump, which it definitely did.
That said the main characters are my pookies ☹️ the way they’re burrowing their way into my heart especially Gideon. That man has been thru it ugh
