Salvation in Death by J.D. Robb
4.0
An "In Death" book is always a pleasure. This one is the first I read in print, as opposed to audiobook, but it's just as solid on the page: the same great characters, the sparking dialog, the devious crimes, the clever police work, the staccato action scenes, and the most important bit, the empathy and humanity. This book started off intriguingly enough, rolled right along, then hit a lull for me around the 80% mark, but it finished up with a satisfying flourish. Recommended.
