srichart 's review for:
So Brave, Young, and Handsome
by Leif Enger
This book didn't grab me, although it was interesting (and short!) enough to keep reading. The last 30 pages or so were the most enjoyable, and the ending is essentially the beginning. I immediately started at the beginning again, and was much more aware of the language and fluidity than when I was reading it the first time. I almost considered re-reading it. It's a cowboy adventure at the end of the era, and while I have no desire to go out and read the history of famous outlaws and the detectives who pursued them, it was a pretty good adventure, though I can't think of anyone I know to whom I can pass on the book.
