k8nin 's review for:
Mother Daughter Traitor Spy
by Susan Elia MacNeal
Here what I'll say. 1) I've enjoyed MacNeal's Maggie Hope books 2) The concept/ story of Nazis in LA was interesting and informative 3) The timing of this book is so transparent and the message contained within so heavy handed that I found myself rolling my eyes.
It was like the author wanted to instead preach, and loosely constructed a story to tell around that sermon. The story didn't get the attention it needed to be great, and the sermon was not subtle.
So, I listened to all FIFTEEN HOURS so you don't have to. I'd pass it I had the choice again.
