Wow, this book was fantastic. I already knew the ending but it still managed to deliver a huge emotional punch.
The characters were amazingly developed and the story beautifully written—Not to mention it stayed true to the loving relationship between Achilles and Patroclus (which is often diminished in modern translations of the Iliad).
