I’m not terribly impressed by this poetry collection. At times Lovelace is trying to be too on-the-nose with using poems as feminist tools. I enjoyed the ones that really leaned into the fairytale metaphor. She clearly has a lot of skill with the technicals of poetry which I applaud. Pretty middle of the road for me as a whole.
