Rhys Bowen's "Her Royal Spyness" series may not be great art but it is wildly entertaining. This book, the first in the series, introduces Georgie, a great-grandchild of Victoria who is just high enough up in the royal hierarchy for the Queen to inconvenience her from time to time but not high enough up to, you know, have money to live on. This book has Scotland and a dashing Irishman and an unappealing Romanian prince and a Wallis Simpson appearance. It also made me laugh out loud at least twice. Highly recommended.
