The Housekeeper
by Joy Fielding
Jodi, the main character, is a doormat for her sister Tracey, father(Vincent) ,ailing mother (Aubrey) and the newly assigned housekeeper she hired. Jodi’s husband Harrison, a writer, treats her horrible as well. The new housekeeper, Elyse ends up killing Jodi’s mother, marrying her father and tries to take off of his money. This was a great psychological thriller but a little bit too exaggerated for me. The ending I did like and the author wrapped it up pretty well.
