A coming of age story set in the 1990s, about young love, friendship and family. It was slow to start, but I enjoyed it once I got into it. I’ve had a mixed relationship with David Nicholls - I loved One Day, but hated Starter for Ten. This book was in the middle, but leans closer to One Day because of the heartfelt, nostalgic feel.
