The Problem with Forever by Jennifer L. Armentrout

5.0

I was in a slump but this book helped me out so much. I loved it and there are so many quotable passages through out it. I highly recommend it. I was taught the important lesson of trying and not giving up. The character Mallory showed me what it's like to be brave and take those first steps in order to help yourself. She had a support system just like me and thankfully, she's inspired me to take a leap. And that trying is better than hiding from forever. There's a quote I absolutely adore and resonates with me. It's this:

"Forever wasn’t pain and grief. Forever wasn’t a problem. Forever was my heartbeat and it was the hope tomorrow held. Forever was the glistening silver lining of every dark cloud, no matter how heavy and thick it was. Forever was knowing moments of weakness didn’t equate to an eternity of them."

The story had an important message and it really did stand out. I adored Rider and Carl and Rosa. I loved Ainsley. I even adored Jayden. I've got tear stains since I've been non stop crying at the end and now I'm aware I resemble a goof but I honestly do recommend that everyone checks this book out. It mentions abuse and so bear that in mind since its central to the story and it is ultimately the journey the protagonist is on. With that out of the way, I hope you pick it up, cry and laugh and throw the book (lovingly) across the room in frustration :)
