The Cottages on Silver Beach by RaeAnne Thayne
4.0
Lovely contemporary story with a bit of mystery
Rounded up from 3.5 stars.
Format: Kindle
Length: 384 pages
Genre: contemporary romance
Hero: FBI agent on suspension/true crime writer
Heroine: owner of local Inn/semi-professional photographer
Trigger: domestic violence (past and alleged)
This was a good continuation of the series. We’ve seen the rest of the Bailey children get married off and this time it was the elusive eldest brother, Elliott. Also, Megan Hamilton, whom we met in the first book when her Inn burns down, finally gets her HEA. Elliott and Megan have been circling each other for years but they encounter some obstacles; she dated his deceased brother years ago, also her brother Luke, Elliott’s former BFF, was accused of murdering his wife when she disappeared 7 years ago and everyone thinks he did it, including Elliott. There’s a bit of mystery and intrigue, a solid addition to the series.
