Dear Reader by Tate James
challenging
dark
mysterious
tense
- Loveable characters? Yes
- Diverse cast of characters? No
- Flaws of characters a main focus? Yes
Not rating this because for whatever reason with Tate James' books it doesn't matter if the book is "good" or not, it's just such a fun, addicting ride. I read the Kindle preview a day or two ago and when I saw it in person today I couldn't resist. Now I've stayed up til almost 2:00 a.m. to finish it and regret nothing. Can't wait to read the next one... will probably even pre-order it even though I hardly ever buy physical books.
Edit: Reread this yesterday and I am physically incapable of reading this book slowly. Literally binged it in a few hours and enjoyed it just as much. NEED the sequel asap.
