For some reason, it took me a while to get through, but I think it was because I kept picking it up and not being in the right "mood" required to read this book. After months of sifting through the first 100 pages, I breezed through the rest of it in 1.5 days and was so glad I finished it. It was sugary-sweet, to say the least, but the author's note at the end gives a good reason for why he wrote it the way that he did. Definitely worth a pick-up.
