Smitten with Ravioli by Ellen Jacobson

4.0

This is another one I got for free on Amazon and oh my goodness please run to get this. This book might easily be one of my favorites I’ve ever read. The Italian scenery is so well elaborated that it feels like you’re there yourself. I could almost taste the yummy foods they were making in cooking class. The witty conversations between Ginny and Preston made me laugh over and over again, as well as the silly actions of Ginny. I did not expect the academic vibe to match this good with the romantic holiday vibe, but it turns out to be the perfect mix of romance and ancient history facts (which I love!). Now I’m left with the craving to read more academic Italian romcoms!
