Reading this "post-pandemic" is wild. The way that different people react to the news of spreading doom and the various precautions, theories, responses, etc. they had was so accurate that it's hard to believe this was written in 2014. I know that the "horror" in this comes from the not knowing and that, since it's a series, everything can't be wrapped up neatly but I thought the ending felt rushed. I have a hard time believing after all the obstacles they encountered that there would be no resistance upon arriving at their destination. Overall, fairly well paced and I enjoyed the ride.
