Bittersweet Love by Q.B. Tyler

5.0

Ugh this novella was so fucking good! These two were so hot ! I LOVED their back and forth banter it was so hot and delicious - Vince says “our fighting was the best foreplay I’ve ever had” and fvck yes it was. It was so good. Their chemistry is off charts ! They had me feeling hot & feral.

I didn’t read the Bittersweet duet prior to this and I didn’t feel like I was missing out or anything although I HAVE to jump into it asap. So if you want to read it and have read the duet you definitely can.

Lauren moves to Chicago for a new job, new start - with hopes that her boyfriend will move shortly after. There, working for NBC as a journalist she meets her coworker Vince. And they couldnt be more different. They can’t stand each other - or can they? One day Lauren gets a break text from her boyfriend and when she goes drink away her pain guess who’s at the bar?!

I love both Lauren and Vince’s mouth, they were so much & again HOT

QB wrote this - “the smell of his cologne and the whiskey waft around me and spark an aphrodisiac I can’t ignore.” - and let me say that I know this feeling & its delicious lol

This novella was short but was it packed with spice and the story was good. Nothing felt rushed & we see their relationship grow into something more. I enjoyed this so much - but I LOVE & ENJOY everything QB writes.

This has enemies to lovers, work place romance, frenemies with benefits

& one of my favorite quotes:
“It’s a shame God made Satan so perfect.”
