Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill
3.0

This first edition is interesting because it's a glimpse the mentality of bussines men after the great depression. The lessons are pretty good and most are still valid but be aware that there's plenty of misogynistic tones, and while not racist it's clear the author comes from a privileged life and has no idea what is like to struggle. The author is also anti labor unions and if it were up to him we would still be working 16 hours a day 7 days a week with no safety because he believes that recognizing rights and minimum safety is hindering your capacity to accumulate wealth. Other than that it does have solid recommendations. I might read the latest version to see if and how they have fixed and updated the outdated views and to read about more contemporary examples of success.
