This is the first thriller I've read in a while and I really enjoyed it!
Right off the bat, I had a really bad feeling about our main character Katy's fate. There was something so odd about her situation. And then she meets Beth (Lily) in a very unconventional way, and they end up going on this journey to find out what happened to lost vanlifer Phoebe - who happens to have a relation to Katy.
This story was very creepy. I thought the premise of solo female travel was very well done and it did a great job of bringing to light what women traveling alone should look out for. I had no idea where this story was headed, and when I reached the big reveal, I was shocked.
Even though I really enjoyed this book, I did find some parts to be confusing. Beth was one of the more confusing characters because I felt like her backstory was being revealed in a backwards way. It was a unique way to unfold the layers of someone, but it also left me feeling confused at some points.
Overall, this was an excellent thriller. I loved the setting of Australia and vanlife. I think there is a lot to learn from this story about social media and the nature of oversharing.
