To All the Boys I've Loved Before
by Jenny Han
4.5 Stars
This book was cute, but it was a pretty generic ya romance novel.
Lara Jean has written love letters to the boys she’s loved before and then her letters end up getting sent out to all 5 boys she’s written about. From there, it’s kind of interesting just to see how much she romanticizes the love she thought she would have for them.
Lara Jean is pretty naive when it comes to almost everything relating to boys and relationships. She’s into her older sister’s ex-boyfriend and doesn’t seem to understand the things that happen in relationships like touching, etc. There also isn’t really any HEA and the ending is left as if it wasn’t finished.
Overall, I really didn’t expect more from this YA book. It was a decent read and if I ever get the second book in the series, I’ll give it a go.
