I did not enjoy listening to Snyder talking about his time in the hospital because hearing about medical problems makes me uncomfortable/gives me anxiety. But I really appreciated what he had to say about the US healthcare system and how broken it is. Hearing Snyder compare the US healthcare system to the Austrian system, especially in maternal healthcare and childcare/paternity leave, was so enlightening. Definitely worth a listen—it’s like 2-3 hours on audiobook.
