Wild Rain by Beverly Jenkins

Did not finish book. Stopped at 26%.
While the main characters were compelling, I got lost in tracking the (many) people who live in the town of Paradise, made it hard to understand nuances or know who was actually significant. I learned a lot of facts about 19th-csntury Wyoming and norms based on race/class/gender, including if ones family had formerly been enslaved or not. About third of the way in, I flipped to the end and read the last chapter, which seemed to tie things up nicely, but this book was not for me right now.
