I love the Avonlea series but I did not care for this one at all. There some was some fun anecdotes and familiar storylines because I am a big fan of the tv series with Meghan Follows in Anne of Avonlea but this book was hard to plow through. Wasn't a fan of letter format and all the gushing Anne does is all one sided....do we ever get to hear from Gilbert? Also, didn't feel like the usual Anne adventures. Really struggled to get through this one.
