I loved this book. Shelby Van Pelt creates characters that are witty and flawed. Allowing you to cheer them on, but hold your breath hoping things turn out for each of them
As the reader, you are in on the "secret" the octopus holds and that made me feel more connected to the story. I loved that the octopus makes an actual appearance in each of his chapters. I couldn't help but smile when I realized who the remarkably bright creatures were.
