malisoncek 's review for:
The Opportunist
by Tarryn Fisher
I re-read this book, because I loved it so much the first time. But it's so much better when you read the book again after reading all three of them.
This is that kind of a book, that stays with you weeks after you read it. And i absolutely love this:
"I was a relationship retard. I kicked, shoved, and punched people out of my life, so they never had a chance to hurt me."
I never read a quote that would express me more than this one.
When Olivia went to meet his mother, I felt so bad for her. She wanted to impress his mom, and reading this made me cry:
"I looked down at my cheap shoes in shame. I had bought them especially for this occasion. I wished I was better at hiding things from him. I wished I had bought a more expensive pair of kickers."
There is a lot of drama in the book and it just keeps you on the edge until the end. And i was so happy when i saw that there were two more books, because i just didn't want the story to end. I loved every word in it. Amazing!
