This book was strange in a way I can’t quite describe, but I continued to think about it after finishing for a long time. The imagery and narrative are different than other books I’ve read. A mix of confusing in this world that both does exist and doesn’t, and this fascination with sound that I, as a non musician, didn’t quite grasp while reading. That being said, I enjoyed this book overall. It’s the kind of book I feel like talking about nonstop after reading, yet have no good way to start. Trippy, strange, frightening, gruesome, and still good.
