Feminist Fight Club: An Office Survival Manual for a Sexist Workplace by Jessica Bennett
3.0
Why couldn't this book have been written 20 years ago? I would have sat down with my younger self and had a nice chat over it. But... we are here now (thank goodness) and we can thank the strong women before us who paved the way.
This is a book written for young women who are finding their way through the workplace. I've already walked this road, and learned these lessons from the school of hard knocks. My critique of the book is that so many powerful points are punctuated by profanity that reads decidedly, well, masculine. I didn't need it to smile at the punchlines, or hear the message. The writing could have stood on its own.
