it's interesting. i said this about the prelude but what it covers is very similar to Rick Alverson's The Comedy except much more nihilistic and pessimistic, with a heavier focus on the internet (duh). it's also more plot-focused and surreal, though that's in form as opposed to ideas. it's not bad but it's quite messy and i wouldn't chalk it up to it being a draft and moreso just an inexperience in screenwriting, it's very ambitious for what i'm assuming to be a first foray into writing a feature-length script from Glover. there is also quite a pretentious "up-his-own-ass" vibe that comes from Donald's writing. like "ooh look how self-aware i'm being" when he's writing about how living your life in irony can ruin you as a person. again though, it's for the most part not bad. a fair few of the ideas here are very interesting and mature, and the sense of humour is there. it's like an embryonic version of what Atlanta turned out to be. definitely something to check out if you're into what Glover does, especially what he was doing during this era, but nothing to get your shit in a twist over. would've been cool to see how this would get adapted to the screen but that shit's not gonna happen atp lol.
