Chasing Riddick
by Alexandra St Pierre
4.5/5 š
I am emotionally unwell. Chasing Riddick ripped my heart straight out of my chest, stomped on it a little, and then gently patched it back together with tenderness, longing, and so much aching love. I cried. I swooned. I may never recover.
This book had age gap, grumpy/sunshine, emotional damage, and a friendship so pure (hi, Turtle š¢) it nearly broke me. Riddick and Finn? That push and pull? That tension?? Absolutely electric. But Turtle⦠he mightāve quietly stolen the whole show. The way he knew what Finn needed without question, without judgmentāIāll be thinking about that kind of friendship forever.
It had just the right balance of angst, spice, flirting, and raw, aching vulnerability. The kind of story that grabs you and wonāt let go. The kind where you feel everything.
Iām now on a mission to read everything Alexandra writes. If you love deep feels, perfectly messy men, and romance that hurts so good, this oneās for you.
