This book starts off with Maya, who’s burying her husband. She’s now left with a 2 year old and has had to quit her job as a military officer. Oh yes, her husband was murdered! Her best friend Eileen gives her a nanny cam, however Joe, her DEAD husband is on the camera!
This is classic Harlan Coben. So many twists and turns and no holding back. If you’ve read his books before you’ll always recognise the twists! I was hooked with this book. I instantly fell in love with Maya and was like her co detective.
There’s been so much hype with the tv series that’s been made based off this book. I wanted to read the book first, and now am so excited to watch the series!
You’ll love this book if you love twists and taking matters into their own hands. I love detective novels like this and Harlan’s one of the best! The ending shocked me, I didn’t expect it to happen. I also didn’t expect to cry at the end of the book either, which I did! Definitely check this book out. It’s amazing!
