The Nobleman's Guide to Scandal and Shipwrecks by Mackenzi Lee

5.0

This is one of the most satisfying endings I've read for a series I've loved.
I genuinely don't know how to give a finale a better praise.

The characters old and new were just as charming as I found them to be when I first picked up The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue. It was so much fun to see Monty lament about past Monty whilst still being—well— very much Monty. It was so much fun to see what all these characters were doing after TLGTPAP.

We also got to meet The Goblin/Adrian. He is such a sweetheart.
I heard people talk about how rough the book was to get through at times because of Adrian's anxiety. Maybe because I thought it was going to be worse than it was, or because I found his anxiety to be more relatable than anything else... I didn't struggle with that.

I loved the plot about the flying dutchman! It really gave me those Pirates of the Caribbean vibes I loved so much about the first two books. (especially TLGTPAP) And without any spoilers I found how it ended really interesting and had me questioning things.

My biggest critique is not enough Percy. (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

If you read and enjoyed the first two books, this is DEFINETLY an ending I recommend reading!
