This may be a controversial opinion, but Nyktos > Casteel and Serephina > Poppy. I adore Nyktos. He is gentle & genuine, but masculine, primal & Scheming at the same time. The spice is immaculate. The thing he did with his shadows - if you know, you know.
The only negatives is that the story of Serephina and Nyktos is basically the same story of Poppy and Casteel. It makes sense, but is a bit repetitive.
