Fantastic book. The plot is a little slow, but it works with time in a really fascinating way. Won't spoil anything, you'll see when/if you read it. The characters are nuanced and you really get to spend the time understanding them. The first book that's made me cry in a while.
This book, more than any other, points out the absurdity of colourism and the concept of race itself in a way that is unbelievably enlightening.
