this was my first icelandic/scandi noir and i ended up really enjoying it. I'm not usually one for this type of genre since i can get a bit paranoid after reading them, but this wasn't too bad! i thought the pacing was done well, though it might be a bit too slow for some. if you're someone who hasn't read any/too many noirs like myself i think this would be a great start :) now onto volume 2!
