miriammim 's review for:
A Useful Woman
by Darcie Wilde
I read this one and it took a bit to get used to the writing style and the characters - definitely started a bit slow as Wilde set the stage. However, once I was familiar I really enjoyed where she took the story and her style. I quickly devoured books 2 and 3 of this series - which I found even better with the first one as it didn't need to include as much history and could spend more time moving the general story a long. I think if rated them individually I would drop the first one to 4 stars but bumped it up to 5 because I really encourage readers to read it and check out the following books.
