Beautifully written novel about Carmilla from her lover's point of view and how she had to deal with her horrid husband, and her journey to rid herself of him to be with Carmilla completely free and fulfilled.
It moved slow, was set in same timeline as the original, and was difficult to stomach that this was how women were treated.
