Everything Zadie Smith writes captures the small details and reflections of things so well, so I’m not surprised that this is so well done. She captures moments of the pandemic very well and gave me things to think about and I think it will be very interesting to read in 2030 when I’m more far removed from the year 2020. Some essays didn’t work as well for me but the ones that did work worked really well.
