This book picked up right where The Other Side of the Mirror left off! I absolutely adore Eva and Bash, their story, and how neither of them are the typical fantasy-romance MC. The middle of the book did fall a little flat for me, but the last parts of the book sprang into action and wrapped things up in a (seemingly) clean ending...but this is a trilogy so we'll see 👀

If you love the fated mates trope, good banter/spice, and some angst thrown into the mix, you'll love this book!
