i personally don’t really like the way that tamlin was literally choking feyre and then like two days later they were in love but to each their own i guess. i read throne of glass a long time ago, but i remember dorian being just the worst and people really liking him. so maybe it’s just a theme that miss maas makes her main female character fall in love with the most abusive man in the book stockholm syndrome style. and my “i’ll be damned if a MAN treats me like that” ass just doesn’t like that aspect of her books. that being said, this is one of the few fantasies i’ve read that i’ve mostly enjoyed. was it the beauty and the beast plot? possibly. will i be reading on? probably.
