This was my first pure romance novel, read by recommendation, and it was super fun. An easy and relatively quick read, it was also surprising to me. The twists and turns and emotional rollercoasters it took were certainly surprising! Perhaps its my inexperience with the genre or perhaps this truly was a very surprising novel with its twists but I really had fun reading it. The female MC was very independent, strong and willful, I really appreciated seeing that personality type in a novel.
Especially one that was celebrated in this way as well (at least in certain circles!).
It reminded me of Season 2 of Bridgerton, which is my favorite season so far, so it's a great compliment!
